For the second year running, the Yale School of Architecture has partnered with NeighborWorks New Horizons and HTP Ventures LLC with the aim of producing affordable housing from a chosen students design. Yale Students are challenged to create a cost-efficient and flexible design prototype that could be applied to sites in New Haven and other urban areas across the country. The brief was focused on a 1,000 square foot house to be located on a corner lot in New Haven’s West River neighbourhood.
