When open, the door installed within the SlideSet is fully encased within the pocket cage. The edge of the door sits flush with the end of the drywall, giving the appearance that the door does not exist. The perimeter of the openings is formed with clean lines, providing the impression of a simple cased opening.
When closed, this system creates a near perfect continuation of the wall. When the CavKit closer cap is installed as part of the overall trim kit, the door nestles within the cap, for a gap free finish and total privacy between rooms. The removal of the gap between door and wall removes any interruption the adjacent room may create.
