Blending classic and contemporary styles in a beautiful Colorado home
In the exclusive Cherry Hills Village a 14,000 square-foot ranch-style home stands a testament to the harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary design. This high-end custom home exemplifies the homeowner’s vision, brought to life through the innovative use of EZ Concept products, including EzyJamb Single Rabbet (SRC), RocYork Concealed Hinges (RY80), SlideSet, and CavKit Trims for sliding doors.
EZ Concept systems elevate this residence to new heights, perfectly aligning with the homeowner’s desire for a contemporary aesthetic. The residence, spanning 6.28 square miles, is set against a picturesque mountain backdrop making this location a unique landscape.
The visual spaciousness of the space can be felt walking through the hallways. Seen from the kitchen (pictured left) is an adjoining corridor featuring square-set sliding doors along its walls. With no protruding architraves along this walkway, each of these SlideSet pocket doors establish a minimalist feeling. Similar effect is found in the living space (pictured right) where a glass double-door is subtlety framed by EzyJamb.
Seamless Perfection
The pairing of EzyJamb SRC and RocYork RY80 Concealed Hinges transform every space, from the sleek modern kitchen to the seamless hallways, creating a continuous flow that accentuate the home’s aesthetic and functionality. This combination ensures that every door integrates perfectly into the architecture, offering a clean, undisruptive look highlighting the home’s contemporary design.
EzyJamb Single Rabbet (SRC) provides a flush finish for the doorways, eliminating the need for trims. This ensures clean lines extend throughout the house, reinforcing the contemporary meets traditional design theme.
The RocYork RY80 Concealed hinges contribute to the seamless and clean aesthetic by allowing the hinges to remain hidden when the doors are closed, and blend effortlessly with the surrounding architecture.

Whether you’re working with solid wood, glass, or a combination of materials, this system can be customized to suit any opening.
